The Northern BrotherhoodWe of Aakheta are the heart of the northern brotherhood of Ahati, the greatest warriors of the Mother’s Sorrow and adherents to the tenants of Peyimaaw. Diverging from the more mercantile southern brotherhoods during the reign of Aakhet, the northern brotherhood is composed of various military brotherhoods which have served us well and now rule over our state.\n\nA martial class often composed of commoners, the Ahati see themselves as nobles and by every right they should. Respected by the people, their power extends further to religion too. They enforce Aakhet’s word and help spread his blessings to the people. The estates listen to them loyally, their word being law from the nobles to the merchants. These loyal brotherhoods have found themselves in every aspect of our state and thank Aakhet for that.
+5% All Estates' Loyalty Equilibrium

Bronze Into PlowsharesBronze has long been the tool of Kheterata. Since it was first forged it has been invaluable for everything from weaponry to farming, a true blessing from Aakhet the Bronze. This has proven even more convenient thanks to our bronze legions. As our veterans retire it is customary that they melt down their swords and have them reforged into hoes and plows. This symbolizes Aakhets blessing being not wasted, but repurposed. Their time of fighting is at an end and now they may continue to serve Aakheta by working our plentiful fields. There is bounty in both bloodshed and wheat.
+10% Production Efficiency

Seat of AakhetIt is common knowledge that Aakheta was once capital of Aakhet the Bronze, great dragon of the Sorrow, and his expansive empire. After all, how could one not know, when statues from then still loom and the high walls of the city remain the same? This city, a wonder for its sweet-scented bazaars to countless barracks, is still our capital, yet our borders do not reach quite as they did before.\n\nAakhet’s reemergence in 1439 is as clear a sign as any that the time has come to reestablish our rightful ancient empire. When he returns to us, and he will, his seat and his empire will be waiting and ready.
+0.05 Monthly Mandate
-15% Unjustified Demands

First to JusticeThe Ahati and justice; when it comes to Stewardship of the Sorrow these are synonyms. The Ahati that make up our government and our people are righteous, faithful followers of the Aakhetist code and thus Aakhet’s word. They are fervent believers in living true and honorably. These are not only words but actions, for were the Ahati not the first to take action against malevolent kings of old, slaying them where they stood? It was our Ahati commander Dajasht Aahmes the Dashing who supported Nirat’s rebellion first to overthrow the unjust Crodamics, after all!.
+2 Tolerance of the True Faith

Faith In AakhetWe and our Khetist brothers are alike in many ways, but our faiths diverge when it comes to the matter of the high god of Kheterata. Some still claim for Elikhet, others Nirakhet, but we know it to be Aakhet. The great dragon is a present god, perhaps even a reincarnation of Elikhet - in fact his presence is known in the Sorrow even now! We have always been the vigilant faithful; by custom we Aakhetists only pray in the shade to represent being under his great wings. It is no strange sight to see a stranger or two holding a cloth of some sort over a worshiper if there’s no shade nearby so that they may still perform their prayers.
+15% Religious Power

Ahati LeadershipSlain king after slain king and for what? For the Crodamics to continue to abuse their power and mistreat the people. Their Mandate is weak. The Ahati preserve Kheterata’s people and the Commanders preserve the Ahati; thus they’ve already been performing the role of a true Steward. Dynasties are fickle, but the code of the Ahati is unwavering. With a ruler dedicated to the three tenets of Peyimaaw; devotion to the people, cultivation of virtue, and the eradication of injustice and misrule, our people will always remain well represented and can rest easy knowing they are forever in good hands.
+1 Random Candidate Bonus

Dragon BannersOnce, Aakhet headed a blessed legion countless strong across the sands but now we’re far from those days. Murals and artifacts are the remnants of his banners, ancient swords left to collect dust on the mantle pieces of the younger generations. When Aaakhet returns to lead us, should he be welcomed by the meek and miserly? We must reforge the army, the crest of Aakhet on every banner! Each helmet will be forged in the visage of Aakhet, so when a soldier looks beside them they fight with their god above them and at their side!
